Accolades: Huda won the Yale Book Award and the Harvard Book Award in 2010. She was named an AP Scholar with Distinction in 2010 and won a Perfect Attendance Award for 11 years. Huda also won two First Place awards in a District Future Business Leaders of America competition for Web Site Development and for Desktop Publishing. She also won the Outstanding Achievement Award for Biology Pre-AP in 2007-2008 and the Principal´s Award for Academic Excellence in 2007-2008.

Accomplishments: Huda was the Secretary of the National Honor Society, Historian for the Drama Club, Secretary for Key Club, and Treasurer for the Future Business Leaders of America. She also ran track for four years and participated on the school´s Academic Team. Huda amassed 481 service hours by volunteering at the Oncology Unit at Manatee Memorial Hospital, passing out tickets for the Manatee Players, participating in beach clean ups and volunteering at “Visions of the Blind” summer camp.

Aspirations: Huda plans to pursue a Philosophy or Chemistry major in college with an eye toward working in medical research or as a Chemo-Oncologist.
