The Business Partners in Education program is a collaborative partnership between the Manatee County School District and the Manatee Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the program is to provide schools and businesses with a mechanism for the mutual exchange of information and resources for the betterment of the community.

The School District works with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce to identify and nurture business partnerships. Each school year partnerships are renewed and evaluated for effectiveness. At the School District level, the Community Relations Department works with each school through individual school-based Business Partnership Coordinators to organize and oversee the program.

Through successful Business Partnerships schools and businesses are able to develop unique methods of accomplishing educational goals that could not be realized without each other. These relationships are critical to the School District's mission and become cornerstones for a better community.

In addition to School Linked Business Partnerships where a business partners with an individual school, there are District Linked Business Partnerships that impact the overall district, school support areas or several schools together where by the partnership is developed and managed at the district level.
