What We Do
We build schools!
The Department of Construction Services (DCS) is responsible for the administration of the building construction program for Manatee County School District. This includes the new construction, renovation, and/or remodeling of all educational
facilities and ancillary spaces owned by the District. DCS is responsible for overseeing these capital projects from design to construction and closeout. DCS is also responsible for implementing and maintaining the District's Plans Room
which contains accurate facilities records, including as-built drawings, construction documents, specifications and closeout data, and reporting this information to fire and law enforcement departments as required by law.
