FUNCTION 1 - Support & Intervention Services
Provides support for student academic achievement through activities and assistance with a focus on prevention and intervention, social/emotional development, physical and mental health, effective instructional practices for diverse learners, compliance monitoring and technical assistance for traditional and charter schools, off campus and alternative programs, and family advocacy.

FUNCTION 2 - School Leadership & Management
Provides oversight responsibility for managing, supervising and monitoring the daily operation of schools; development and performance appraisal of school principals; facilities coordination and delivery ofservices to assist students of all ages with career planning and preparation.

Provides a focus on the continuous improvement of students' academic success through school improvement processes, analysis of and access to student performance data; profices guidance and technical assistance to departments and schools in the effective use of data; collaboratively develops and monitors accountability measures to increase rigor, relevance, and academic achievement.
