The Network Services Section of the Technology and Information Services Department is responsible for the information backbone of the School Board of Manatee County. This includes installing, configuring and trouble shooting hardware and software on PC's, printers, hubs, routers, scanners and more. We are responsible for the installation and support of the District wide servers, which includes E-mail, Internet, file and print sharing, and security servers.

We are also responsible for the design and implementation of Local Area Networks in the schools and support centers, as well as the District's Wide Area Network system, which includes a district pipe to the Internet.

From a student's PC in a classroom to the PC in the superintendent's office, the responsibility for keeping the information flowing passes thru the hands of the Network Services section.
