BRADENTON - A committee of School Board members met Wednesday and came up with recommended names for Manatee County's three newest public schools.

The recommendations are:

1. Buffalo Creek Middle School - recommended as the name for Middle School BB, which is being built next to Virgil Mills Elementary School on 69th Street East in Palmetto.

2. Benjamin David (B.D.) Gullett Elementary - recommended as the name for Elementary G, currently under construction at the intersection of Pope Road and the future extension of 44th Avenue at Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.

3. Annie Lucy Williams Elementary - recommended as the name for Elementary F being built on Fort Hamer Road in Parrish.
