EDUCATIONAL TOWN HALL MEETING TO BE HELD (Bradenton, FL - April 23, 2008) The sixth in a series of Town Hall Meetings to discuss important issues related to education will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Lakewood Ranch High School. Parents, students, families and citizens across Manatee County are invited to attend the meeting where they can join in an open forum discussion with School Board member Harry Kinnan and key staff members of the School District on issues concerning academics, budget issues, school safety and school construction. Mr. Kinnan moderated the first in this series of Town Hall Meetings on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in the auditorium at Braden River High. Subsequent Town Hall Meetings have been held at Palmetto High, Manatee High, Southeast High and Bayshore High. The Town Hall Meeting at Lakewood Ranch will be taped and re-broadcast on Manatee Educational Television. Lakewood Ranch High is located at 5500 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. ### |
