SOUTHEAST HIGH HOSTS FOURTH IN (Bradenton, FL - April 9, 2008) The fourth in a series of Town Hall Meetings to discuss important issues related to education will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Southeast High School. Parents, students, families and citizens across Manatee County are invited to attend the meeting where they can join in an open forum discussion with School Board member Harry Kinnan and key staff members of the School District on issues concerning academics, budget issues, school safety and school construction. Mr. Kinnan moderated the first in this series of Town Hall Meetings on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in the auditorium at Braden River High. A second Town Hall Meeting was held November 13, 2007 at Palmetto High, and a third was held at Manatee High on March 4, 2008. Future Town Hall Meetings are scheduled for Bayshore High on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, and Lakewood Ranch High on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The Town Hall Meeting at Southeast will be taped and re-broadcast on Manatee Educational Television, Channel 21. Southeast High is located at 1200 37th Ave. E., in Bradenton. ### |
