MANATEE DISTRICT TO HOST MEETING OF THE (Bradenton, FL. - February 7, 2008) The Manatee County School District will host a meeting of the Central Florida Public School Boards Coalition on Sunday and Monday, February 10-11, 2008. The purpose of the meeting is to share “Best Practices” between the school boards and school districts represented. The meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn Lakewood Ranch, located at 6231 Lake Osprey Drive. The starting times are 4 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday. The purpose of the Central Florida Public School Boards Coalition is to address public educational issues impacting Central Florida, the state and the nation. School boards and school districts that make up the coalition include Brevard, Hillsborough, Lake, Manatee, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Volusia counties. ### |
