DAUGHTREY ELEMENTARY INVITES PUBLIC TO (Bradenton, FL. - January 30, 2008) Blanche H. Daughtrey Preparatory School of Arts and Sciences invites the public to attend a rededication ceremony in honor of its totally rebuilt campus, on Monday, February 4, 2008, at 6 p.m. Daughtrey is located at 515 3rd Ave. E., in Bradenton. Originally built in 1963, the former school building was replaced with a brand new, two-story, state-of-the art facility that covers 100,190 square feet and can accommodate 830 students. The project cost $19.3 million, significantly less than the $21.9 million project budget. Superintendent Dr. Roger Dearing, School Board members and Principal Monica Hankerson are scheduled to attend along with representatives of Ranon & Partners, Inc., the Architect/Engineers for the project, and Centex Construction, LLC, the project's Construction Manager. ### |
