MTI TO CELEBRATE COMMENCEMENT FOR MORE THAN 1,800 GRADUATES MONDAY
(Bradenton, FL - June 25, 2008) One of the shining lights of the Manatee County School District - Manatee Technical Institute - will hold its graduation ceremony on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Manatee Civic Center in Palmetto. More than 1,800 students are scheduled to graduate from MTI this year, including 721 career and technical education program graduates and 357 GED graduates.
By combining exceptional instructors with exemplary programs, MTI has established an identity as one of the premier technical institutes in the nation. For four-years running, MTI students have won more medals than any other technical school in America at the annual SkillsUSA competition held in Kansas City, Missouri. Just this week, MTI students won seven national medals at the Health Occupations Students of America national conference in Dallas.
