DISTRICT SCHOOLS SERVE SUMMER LUNCHES
(Bradenton, FL - June 6, 2008) The School District of Manatee County will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program during the months of June, July and August. Nutritionally balanced meals will be provided free to all children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age, or national origin during summer vacation. All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for meals at no charge and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Summer feeding sites that are located at schools provide free meals to all children and are not limited to those enrolled in summer school. Lunch at all sites is scheduled to be served from 11:45 until 12:45 but is subject to change. There is no registration, qualification or identification necessary.
