ELEMENTARY ART AND MUSIC FESTIVAL (Bradenton, FL - May 1, 2008) The musical and artistic talents of students representing 30 elementary schools will be on display during the Manatee County Schools Elementary Art and Music Festival to be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Manatee Convention and Civic Center. Student artwork will be available for viewing before and after the musical performances which will include the All-County Chorus, Tillman Elementary´s drum line, string ensembles from Rowlett and Daughtrey elementary schools, Orff Ensembles from Kinnan and Witt elementary schools, Bashaw´s African Ensemble and others. Guest speakers will also address the audience regarding the significance of arts in our schools. Admission to the festival is free. ### |
