JOHNSON MIDDLE SCHOOL TO HOST WORLD TOUR EXPO (Bradenton, FL - May 27, 2008) The students at Louise R. Johnson Middle School are hosting a World Tour Expo on May 30 from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM. The purpose of the event is to celebrate cultures and countries from around the globe. Students will display projects that include the activities, geography, government and economies of a variety of countries around the world. The World Tour Expo will feature cultural booths from each country including display boards, entertainment, food and crafts representing each country. The World Expo project incorporates skills learned in a variety of subject areas such as map skills, research and writing, percentages and cultural diversity. The project also emphasizes real life skills such as organization, time management, technology, budgeting and problem solving. L.R. Johnson Middle School is located at 2121 26th Avenue East in Bradenton. ### |
