
Agenda Item #19 Title Approval of the Use of Hillsborough County Proposal for ePayables Pcard Program, MCSD No. 10-0055-RH - p.25 Executive Summary Hillsborough County issued a proposal, #S-0001-09(JSW), for a Purchasing Card program that includes an ePayables service. The ePayables Pcard services allows payments to be made to vendors electronically, saving the District money. Use of the Hillsborough County proposal for ePayables Pcard Program is a continuation of the Finance Department’s effort to go electronic. The ePayables Pcard Program will generate an estimated total annual benefit of $167,387.00, based on the current spend. The vendor agreed to extend the pricing to the Manatee County School District under the same terms and conditions as the Hillsborough County proposal. Copies of the proposal specifications and pricing are on file in the purchasing department. State Board Rule 6A-1.012(5) allows school boards to purchase from existing proposals of other public entities upon agreement by the awarded vendor. Hillsborough County awarded their proposal to FIA Card Services, N.A., a Bank of America company, Tampa, Florida, Florida Document No. not required. The Superintendent recommends approval of the use of Hillsborough County proposal for ePayables Pcard Program, as required, for the period of April 13, 2010 through August 16, 2014. Financial Impact The cost to implement this agenda item will not exceed $6,000.00.
