Car Riders
Johnson K-8 staff will move outside to begin welcoming car riders to school beginning at 7:50am. In the afternoons for pick-up, our school uses Safe Dismissal to help dismiss elementary students quickly and safely. Please make sure you have received your Safe Dismissal car tag before picking your elementary-aged child up as a car rider.
School Bus
School bus transportation to and from Johnson K-8 is possible through bus hubs. Please review a list of hubs in the File Library below. All students wishing to use SDMC bus transportation must "Register to Ride" on the school district's webpage: https://www.manateeschools.net/Page/9714
Day Care Vans
Walkers/Biker Riders
Students will be allowed on campus and supervised by staff at 7:50am; therefore, students using this mode of transportation should take care to arrive no earlier than that time. Students will be guided to leave campus immediately following the 3:15pm bell, unless they participate in an after-school activity.
