NO DO NOT HAVE A PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT

  • This option is ONLY for BRAND NEW students that NEVER BEFORE enrolled in a District of Manatee County School and DO NOT HAVE a Manatee County Student ID number (i.e. Students entering Kindergarten that DID NOT enroll with the ELC, VPK, transferring from private school or transferring from out of County/State). 

    To confirm whether your child has a Manatee County County Student ID number contact the Office of Student Assignment (OSA) at (941) 708-4971 or email studentassignment@manateeschools.net. 

    Click here to enroll *NEW* K-12 Student with Manatee County for the first time

    • Enter your name exactly as it appears on your driver's license as well as a valid email address and create your Parent Portal Password
    • Click orange button titled "I would like to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT for a new child" 
    • Fill in required fields:
      • "Student's First Name*"
      • "Student's Last Name*"
      • "Students Birthdate*"
      • Select "Online Registration" as the "Form Type*"
    • Click green button to "Begin Application"
    • Complete form and click green button to "Submit and Finish"
    • Click orange button titled "I am FINISHED adding students. Please take me to the Portal"
    • Once back in your parent portal, ensure your newly added child's name appears on the left column

    To apply for an Out-of-Zone Transfer request.

    • Click "Forms" and Select the Out-of-Zone Application for the school year you wish to apply for.
    • Select your child ('Select One') and review the address, email, and phone information.
      *Any missing or incorrect data? Please exit the application and contact your school's registrar to request the data be updated. Missing or incorrect data may affect the outcome of your application.
    • Complete the form addressing all the required fields and selecting your request and reason for applying.
    • Upload all supporting documentation to the upload area at the bottom of the form.
    • Submit the form for processing by clicking the blue 'Submit Request' button located at the top and bottom of the form for your convenience.
