Graduation Enhancement Technicians

  • GETs

Graduation Enhancement Technicians - or GET’s, as they are known - work diligently with families and the community to remove obstacles that keep students from being able to attend schools regularly.  Our GETs meet with individual students and families in the school setting and through home visits to forge valuable relationships that are key to improving school attendance and engagement. GETs are funded through federal Title One programming and are dedicated to assisting those students and families who are most in need. Through their grit, passion, and determination, our GETs have made a difference in the lives of countless Manatee County students and greatly enhanced their chances of graduating on time. If your child is struggling with attendance and is enrolled in a Title One school, please contact your GET to find out how they can help.
