Families who are new to Manatee County, have moved out of their zone but want to remain enrolled at their current school, or who want to transfer schools or districts during the current school year, may submit a Hardship Request Form if their zone-assigned school poses a hardship. Transfer approval is based on class size allocation capacity, demonstration of genuine need, and student history.
The 2023-2024 Hardship Transfer Form is available through the Focus Parent Portal (requires Google Chrome). Received transfer requests are processed within 7-10 business days. Results are sent to parent email address.
