Assistant Principals selected for this program, will become part of the Gulf Coast Partnership Resident Program at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
This program brings together assistant principals from surrounding counties working toward their Florida Level II Principal Certification.
The program includes a concentrated study of Appreciative Organizing in Public Education
· Current SDMC Assistant Principal seeking Level II Certification
· Three or more years as an assistant principal
· Acceptance into the program is by invitation from the Instructional Deputy Superintendent and Executive Directors
· Commitment to the yearlong program meeting at the University of South Florida Tampa campus nine times throughout the year.
