    October 1 -- Sign up for FAFSA (free financial aid for post-secondary school) online Remember the FAFSA is the first step to receiving financial aid (FREE MONEY). The quicker you complete your FAFSA, the better your score.
    September 23 --  College and Career Fair at Southeast High School for Juniors & Seniors. Representatives from colleges/universities will be available. Listen to announcements for time schedule.
    October 19 -- Senior Meeting, Auditorium. Seniors released at 1:15 pm. Seniors who cannot attend should come to the Senior Parent Meeting or see Mrs. Rees.
    Seniors must provide Height & Weight & T-shirt sizes when given the Senior Bio sheet. Please be ready to provide the information at the senior meeting on October 19. Contact Mrs. Rees if you have questions. or 941.741.3366, Ext. 36047 and leave a message.
    October 20 -- Senior Parent Meeting, Auditorium. 6:30 pm
    October 20-November 9 -- Senior hoodie sales. Small-XL = $30. 2x = $32. 3X-6X = $34. Orders made with exact cash or check made out to Southeast High can be made in Mrs. Rees' classroom by Southeast High Seniors. Email Mrs. Rees

    Hoodies will be delivered during Semester 1 Exam Week. Subject to Change.
    November 11 -- Deadline to have senior picture taken in order to be included in the yearbook.
    November 30 -- Deadline to secure your individual senior yearbook page. 
    January 18 -- Senior Meeting, auditorium. 7th Period. An announcement will be made for release. Senior Info Meeting #2
    January 19 -- Senior Panoramic Photo, gym, Time: 6th Period. An announcement will be made for release.
    January 19-20 -- Graduation Fees due. $90 Fees include payment for cap/gown/tassel/medallion, diploma/cover, graduation programs, tickets, security, rental fees, awards and miscellaneous expenses. You will need to provide Height, Weight, and T-shirt size. Payment may be at school with exact cash or check or online with an additional convenience fee using a debit or credit card. Link provided later at end of January.
    January 31 -- Last day to order a yearbook @ Seniors who preorder receive a free panoramic photo.
    February 10 -- Last day for Grad Bash ticket sales. Seniors must complete paperwork and prepay for tickets by February 10. See paperwork for eligibility requirements. Tickets are limited.
    Price $180.00 ($37.00 discount off of actual cost).
    February 15 -- Seniors who have not provided sizes by February 15 risk not having a cap & gown for graduation. See Mrs. Rees.
    February 23 -- Career Fair, Gym. Juniors & Seniors only. More info to come.
    March 8 -- Early Bird Prom Ticket Sales--$65--for Southeast students. (See April 29 date for more information.) 
    April 12 -- Senior Class meeting (9:00 am) and Senior Parent meeting (6:30 pm) regarding graduation and end of year activities. Auditorium.
    April 22 -- Grad Bash (Prepaid ticket required. Because this is a special Universal Studios event, no season passes may be used. Students must ride provided transportation.)
    April 29 -- Prom. More information can be obtained from the Junior Class Adviser, Ms. Tish Jones.
    • Early Bird Prom Ticket Sales—$65. Wed., March 8 during all lunches. This price is only for SE Juniors & Seniors—NOT for their guest.
    • All SE Junior, Senior, & Guest tickets will be $75 SE /$75 Guest, March 9-31 & April 1-21
    • ALL Tickets are $85 during Prom week.
    • Guest can not be younger than 9th grade or older than age 20 on the day of prom.
    • In order to purchase tickets, student can not owe money/books to the school district.
    April 24-28 -- Senior privileges will take place. 
    • Senior Privileges end after April 28.
    TBA -- Cap & Gown Distribution during lunches for seniors who have pre-ordered cap/gown and paid Graduation Fees.

    Seniors who have not paid Grad Fees by Monday, April 25, or seniors who did not provide measurements by Feb. 14 will have to wait until after these distribution dates to pay and receive cap/gowns.

    May 12 -- NOON. Last day for senior exams. Books and electronics must be returned, and debts paid to the school district before graduation tickets will be given to the graduating senior during the following week. Check the debt lists posted around campus.

    May 12 -- Senior Picnic. 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.  Only the graduating Southeast High School Class of 2023 Seniors and Southeast High School staff may attend. Games. Yearbooks. Seniors park in New Gym Parking Lot.  Seniors may not be on the main campus.
    May  16 (Subject to change) -- FREE Tickets for Graduation will be distributed to the Spring Graduating Seniors by the guidance counselors. Parents must have written permission to pick up the tickets for the senior if the senior cannot pick up the tickets. Seniors must be debt-free to the school district and have met graduation requirements in order to receive free tickets.  No extra tickets are available.
    May 18 (Date Change) -- Graduation. 4:00 pm. Location LECOM. Everyone must have a ticket--no open admission.  
    Graduation (All information is subject to change.) 
    • Graduation at LECOM Park
    • Seniors must be there by 3:00 pm
    • Dress comfortably but school appropriate. Shorts are OK. No spike heels or flip flops. 
    • Seniors may NOT decorate or modify the cap & gown / graduation attire. Per admin, if they do, they cannot participate.
    • Everyone must have a ticket except children under 3 who sit in an adult's lap.
    • No open admission--even after the ceremony starts. 
    • Per Manatee Co. Sheriff's Department: NO RE-ENTRY. No large bags, balloons, flowers, arrangements, or noisemakers allowed.
    • Though tickets are free, this is a ticketed event. I do not have extra tickets. 
    June 20 -- Official 2023 senior transcript will be available. Class of 2023 Seniors may have one free (official or non official) transcript after graduation. Form available in guidance in May 2023. Requests for additional transcripts.
    July 27 -- Summer Graduation for seniors who meet graduation requirements after spring graduation. More information to follow.

    Southeast graduating seniors may have one free transcript after graduation.
    The official finalized transcript will not be available until June 20, 2023. (Subject to change.)

    Graduate Information
    Seniors must meet graduation requirements, be debt-free to the school district, and have paid graduation fees in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. 

    Reminder: all textbooks, school items, and electronics must be returned to Southeast High School and debts paid to the school district before tickets will be given to ceremony-participating senior graduates. Check in FOCUS or Destiny (in the MySDMC SSO) to see if there is a debt on your account.
