This is How We Roll “Manatee Strong” Parade Planned for Thursday

To our Parents, Employees and Community:

The School District of Manatee County is celebrating the end of the school year with a county-wide convoy. All residents and families are invited to line the route on Thursday, May 28th from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to join the celebration.

This is How We Roll “Manatee Strong” 2020 Parade will kickoff at Robert G. Matzke Support Complex, located at 1 Matzke Way in Bradenton. The parade will include a line of Manatee County school buses, school principals and district personnel, as well as supporters from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Southern Manatee Fire Department and other dignitaries from the community.

The convoy is expected to pass the following locations at the times listed below:

9:05 a.m. Leave Matzke Support Complex
9:07 a.m. Francis Wakeland Support Center [Bus Loop], 1812 27th Street East in Bradenton
9:16 a.m. Southeast High School [Bus Loop]
9:23 a.m. Daughtrey Elementary School via Oneco
9:29 a.m. Bayshore Elementary School via Bayshore Gardens
9:31 a.m. Bayshore High School [Bus Loop]
9:44 a.m. Manatee High School
9:51 a.m. Rogers Garden-Bullock Elementary School
9:59 a.m. Palmetto High School
10:23 a.m. Virgil Mills Elementary and Buffalo Creek Middle School in Parrish
10:30 a.m. Parrish Community High School
10:43 a.m. Annie Lucy Williams Elementary School
10:54 a.m. Lakewood Ranch High School and MTC-East Campus
11:15 a.m. Braden River High School and MTC-Main Campus
11:28 a.m. Return to Matzke Support Complex

Families are invited to share pride for our bus drivers, bus aides, food service workers, teachers, administrators, staff and students by cheering them on somewhere along the route. It’s been a challenging end to the school year, but we’re celebrating our incredible school communities!

Supporters are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing during the county-wide parade. Share your photos online by using #ManateeStrong or #WeManatee.

A nuestros padres, empleados y comunidad:

El Distrito Escolar del Condado de Manatee está celebrando el final del año escolar con un convoy en todo el condado. Todos los residentes y familias están invitados a alinear la ruta el jueves 28 de mayo de 9 a.m. a 11:30 a.m. para unirse a la celebración.

Así es como rodamos el desfile 2020 "Manatee Strong" comenzará en el Complejo de Apoyo Robert G. Matzke, ubicado en 1 Matzke Way en Bradenton. El desfile incluirá una línea de autobuses escolares del condado de Manatee, directores de escuelas y personal del distrito, así como simpatizantes de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Manatee, el Departamento de Bomberos del Sur de Manatee y otros dignatarios de la comunidad.

Se espera que el convoy pase las siguientes ubicaciones en los horarios que se detallan a continuación:

Las familias están invitadas a compartir el orgullo por nuestros conductores de autobuses, asistentes de autobuses, trabajadores de servicios de alimentos, maestros, administradores, personal y estudiantes animándolos en algún lugar a lo largo de la ruta. ¡Ha sido un final desafiante para el año escolar pero estamos celebrando nuestras increíbles comunidades escolares!
