River Reminders 11/29/20
Good evening Pirate Nation. Here are your River Reminders:
Students return to school on Monday, November 30 with two weeks of classes and then an exam week. Due to the nature of giving Semester Exams that count for 20% of your semester average, see the Semester Exam Schedule for the day and period of your exam. During the week of December 14th - 18th, we will have all students, regardless of modality, take their EOC Exams on campus. eLearning students are receiving a letter home about the date and time for their EOC Exams and will receive additional information about their other exams from their eLearning teachers.
The schedule for that week changes the at home learning day for Hybrid students to Monday, Dec. 14 and requires Hybrid students to come to school Tuesday through Friday for your specific period semester exam. No early exams will be given and if you are absent or miss the designated time for your exam, you will receive a "zero" for the exam grade until you schedule a make-up exam with your teacher. Your teacher will have more specific information for you about your semester exam and how to best prepare.
As we return to school after the holiday break - we want to keep everyone safe and healthy. If you feel sick or believe you have symptoms, have been exposed to a confirmed positive COVID 19 case, or are awaiting a COVID-19 test result - please stay home until cleared to return.
We continue to take mitigation measures including taking temperatures, wearing masks on campus, limiting access to our campus, hand sanitizing stations and encourage frequent hand washing, and daily cleaning and sanitizing.
And finally, check out this week's home events on the website.
Be safe, stay well and Go Pirates!
