River Reminders 01/03/2021
Good evening Pirate Nation - and Happy New Year!
Here are your River Reminders:
There will be no school for students on Monday and Tuesday, January 4th and 5th - as they are Inservice and Record Days for school staff. Students will return to school for the Second Semester on Wednesday, January 6.
Beginning on Wednesday, we will only be offering two modalities - full time on campus and eLearning. All Hybrid students, unless you were in contact with your counselors and made the appropriate request - will now be on campus full time each day. eLearning students who were struggling and not successful have also returned to full time unless you completed the proper documentation.
Because of the return of students to campus and some moving to eLearning, we have made some schedule changes and class size balancing to assist with class offerings and social distancing in classrooms. All on campus students will go to a homeroom first thing on Wednesday for their second semester schedule. We will post the homeroom lists to the website and directly to you on Schoology on Monday afternoon. eLearning students can check their schedules on Wednesday on Schoology for any updates.
As we return from the holiday break, we hope each of you were able to stay safe and healthy by following the CDC guidelines.
We will continue to take mitigation measures at our school including taking temperatures, wearing masks, asking symptom-related questions of all students and staff, limiting access to our campus and cleaning and sanitizing our school daily.
Most importantly, if a student or staff member feels sick, believes they have symptoms or has had a test for COVID-19, please stay home until you are symptom free or you are cleared to return to school.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the Second Semester.
Be well, stay safe and Go Pirates!
