River Reminders 01/10/21
Good evening Pirates. Here are your River Reminders:
With the start of the new year and more northern visitors on the road, traffic is heavier during the mornings at BRHS. Be sure to give yourself more time to arrive to school before the first bell.
This week begins the Manatee County Fair and we want to wish all of our students involved in livestock shows and other events good luck - we know how much you have prepared.
The Athletic Boosters will be hosting the "For the Love of the Game" Auction in March. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year and has raised well over $150,000 for ALL of our athletic programs over the years. Due to the Covid pandemic this year, the Athletic Boosters will be hosting the event as an online auction. Please follow them on Facebook at "For the Love of the Game BRHS" for more information. You can get involved by donating auction items, be a corporate sponsor, volunteering your time for the event or even providing a monetary donation. Please contact Stefanie Minihan or Matt Nesser at Braden River HS for more details of how to get involved.
And finally, we want to thank all of our students for continuing to stay safe and healthy by following CDC guidelines by wearing their masks properly each day, social distancing and washing hands and using hand sanitizer often. We are glad to welcome many of you back and want to continue to provide the best environment possible.
Be well, stay safe and Go Pirates!
