BCMS Cambridge Academy Open House Night & Application

The Buffalo Creek Middle Cambridge Academy will be hosting an Open House Night for all interested students and parents on January 18, 2023 beginning at 6:30pm. This Open House will give students and parents information about the Cambridge Program at BCMS and the benefits of enrolling in the Cambridge Academy.

Parents and students will hear how the Cambridge Academy will prepare them to be advanced learners, problem solvers, and critical thinkers. Benefits of the Cambridge Academy include:

• the ability to earn up to 7 high school credits during their middle school career
• an international middle school level curriculum affiliated with Cambridge International Examinations in the United Kingdom used in over 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries
• prepares students for the rigors of the Cambridge AICE program, AP Capstone, IB and Dual Enrollment
• a cohort of scholars who share an academically focused mindset
• application of knowledge, higher order thinking and critical thinking skills

Cambridge Academy Application Timeline:

• Online Application on school website from January 19 – February 28
• Acceptance notification emails sent week of March 24th
• Waiting list notifications begin late April through May 31
