lrhs courtyard(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - LRHS was rated an ‘A’ school for the sixth year in a row for their high achieving performance in the school year 2023-2024.

School grades are provided by the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) and are based on a school’s test scores, graduation rate, and college and career acceleration.

LRHS Principal Dustin Dahlquist shared that he feels the rating of an ‘A’ is an honor.

“Each year, our school community maintains a focus on academic excellence and achievement. While the school grade does not define our school, a rating of 'A' is an honor and a reward for everyone in our school and community,” Dahlquist said.

Dahlquist added the impressive consecutive ratings reflect the efforts of LRHS students, faculty, and staff over the past years.
