“Medical and pharmacy related camps can be an amazing opportunity to open the student's eyes & for them to explore the many diverse choices in the healthcare industry. Not to mention what a great and fun experience it is and affords them the ability to meet and network with peers who have a similar interest & passion.”
Manatee Memorial Hospital also has volunteer programs for anyone 18 and older. This volunteer option is a bit more hands-on in the medical field, and information can be found here.
Universities also offer summer camps and summer courses for students looking for an introduction to the fields and to earn some background knowledge.
To keep up with those applications, keep checking the desired universities offered camps website.
