(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - The LRHS Environmental Club recently wrapped up its “Great Sustainability Challenge,” encouraging students to take small but meaningful actions to help the environment.
The challenge, held throughout the third quarter, provided students with a checklist of eco-friendly activities to complete during the week. Participants logged their completed tasks through an online form for a chance to win a prize.
According to Virginia Frisbie, president of the LRHS Environmental Club, the challenge aimed to raise awareness about sustainability.
“We recently ran an event called the Great Sustainability Challenge, where students received a list of actions, they could take to be more sustainable throughout the third quarter,” Frisbie said.
