Mustangs consider college supplies
Jules Telfort—Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH) – As fall approaches, many senior Mustangs are excited to be going off to college, to both in-state and out-out-of-state schools.
Many are also thinking about what they will need to bring for college, from decorations to personalize their dorm rooms to their dorm essentials.
Senior Brianna Packard will be heading off to the University of Florida in the fall, and to prepare, she has already started buying essentials like “sheets, mattress covers, towels, and more.”
For her dorm wants, Packard said, “Command hooks, an air purifier, a fuzzy blanket, and a fridge will be worked in as well!”
She will also be looking forward to bringing pictures of her dog as a reminder of home.

Senior Shriya Balu will be attending North Carolina State University and is making sure she has all of the things she needs to succeed in the classroom.
“I plan to bring my laptop, my chargers, my iPad and other things that I need for classes.”
To decorate her dorm room, she said, “I will probably also be bringing a lot of the posters from my bedroom to decorate my walls.”
Whether the graduating Mustangs are staying in Florida or attending school out of state, many of them will be making sure they are taking something to remind them of home.
