Panther families,

Good evening! We are four and a half weeks, or 24 days away from the end of the 20-21 school year. It is extremely important that students are on target to pass their classes for the year. Please review your child's 4th quarter progress report to ensure he or she will be successful. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your child's counselor or teachers.

Congratulations to the BRMS Battle of the Books team on a 1st place win in the Battle of the Books competition on this past Wednesday! We are so proud of the following avid readers for bringing home the win:

  1. Noelle Dillon
  2. Alanna Hall
  3. Bella Oliveira
  4. Hannah Taylor
  5. Adolynn Lee

The flag football and volleyball teams will play against Buffalo Creek Middle School at home in the play-offs on Tuesday, April 27th at 5:30 pm. The cost is $2 for students and $3 for adults. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Go Panthers!

Testing starts during the week of May 3rd. All eLearners and on campus students will test on the following days:

  • FSA Reading-Tuesday, May 4th & Wednesday, May 5th
  • SSA-Science-Tuesday, May 11th
  • Civics-Wednesday, May 12th
  • Algebra & Geometry-Thursday, May 13th & Friday, May 14th
  • FSA Math-Tuesday, May 18th & Wednesday, May 19th

Please be sure your child is present & ready to "take the test & do their best" on their designated testing days.

As this year winds down, please impress upon your child that the rules are meant to be followed at all times. Students must wear a clean, properly fitting mask, a lanyard & ID, appropriate attire, and their cell phones must be off and stored away upon entering the campus. They must also get to class on time.

And finally, if your child is sick or has symptoms, has been tested or someone in the home has been tested for Covid-19, or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, he or she must stay home. Please inform the school and have your child complete the work in Schoology or contact his or her teachers for the work.

As always, thank you for your understanding, cooperation and support. We are the home of the Panthers, where we believe and achieve.

Best regards,

Mrs. Zenon-Richardson

Proud Principal
