VEX robotics regional competition drives excitement for young engineers
Hundreds of elementary and middle school students, staff, parents, and volunteers assembled for a high-energy engineering challenge.
The action began at 9 a.m. on February 12, 2024, at the Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto.
Students have spent months working in teams with their advisors on designing, building, coding, and driving robots in a 6' x 8' practice field to score top points at this VEX robotics tournament.
This event determined which teams qualify to compete at the TSA (Technology Student Association) VEX Robotics State Competition next week in Orlando.
