Gene Witt Elementary School celebrates 30 years of excellence in education

Gene Witt Elementary School opened its doors 30 years ago this month.

Principal Connie Dixon invited former administrators and staff to attend the first of several celebrations. 

More than 700 students sang "Happy Birthday" to the school community, followed by a spirited sing-a-long of the school song.
