Mustangs run away with big win, marching band welcomes visitors during storm
What a night to remember at Lakewood Ranch High School!
Despite a 90-minute lightning delay last Friday night, the Marching Mustangs and the Lemon Bay High School Marching Mantas, turned the evening into a heartwarming display of camaraderie.
Stuck on a bus? No problem!
LRHS opened its doors, and what followed was a spontaneous jam session filled with music, dance, and laughter.
No halftime show? No worries.
The memories made were unbeatable.
"Honestly, the whole thing brought tears to my eyes," said Crystal R., whose daughter plays Clarinet for the Mustangs.
Sometimes, it's not about the game, but the friendships formed along the way.
When the game finally got underway, school administrators, students and fans of Lakewood Ranch High School celebrated their brand new AstroTurf field with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Turf was installed by SCG Fields, LLC.
The Mustangs ran away with a big win against Lemon Bay, 42-18.
Best of luck to Head Football Coach Scott Paravicini and team for a great season ahead!
