In the wake of challenging times, families, students, and staff were warmly welcomed back to Manatee County schools on Tuesday.
At Willis Elementary School in Lakewood Ranch, the day was brightened by the presence of firefighters, who taught young students valuable safety lessons including, “stop, drop and roll” in case of fire.
The spirit of unity shone brightly at Braden River High School, where students came together in a collective effort to restore their beloved campus.
The return to learning was embraced across various schools, where a bit of normalcy and routine brought smiles to many faces, reflecting the resilience of our community. Thanks to Bashaw Elementary, Haile Middle, Palm View K-8, Samoset Elementary and Parrish Community High Schools for sharing snapshots of their day.
