Supt. Wysong and MEF Exec. Dir. Mary Glass accept $100,000 relief funds for employees

Superintendent Jason Wysong and Manatee Education Foundation Executive Director Mary Glass joined neighboring school districts at a press event on Thursday.

 

 

Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida Department of Education Commissioner Manny Diaz, Jr., announced $100,000 Florida Disaster Fund awards for five education foundations in counties affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton: Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sarasota.

 

 

The Manatee Education Foundation will distribute these funds to assist school district employees impacted by the storms.
