Aspiring playwright from Braden River High awarded two-year FL Prepaid College scholarship
Congratulations to Braden River High School junior Aaron Gordon, who was recognized by Governor Ron DeSantis and awarded a two-year Florida Prepaid College scholarship.

The aspiring playwright's winning essay on the legendary Ray Charles earned him this honor in the Florida Department of Education's Black History Month contest.
Aaron's parents are extremely proud of his success and thanked the teachers at Braden River High School who have shaped and supported their son and his writing.
Mark Gordon specifically acknowledged educators: Ricardo Robinson-Shinall (Drama), Tabetha Walter (Drama), and Jaclyn Dubois (Language Arts).
