Bulls Track and Field Finishes Strong

At the FHSAA 3A Region 3 meet, 16 total athletes punched their tickets in to qualify for the FHSAA 3A State meet. In Jacksonville, 5 athletes placed All-State, which is the top 8. These include: 

  • Triple Jump (Rylie Jackson): 5th Place – 11.47m 
  • Boys 4x400m (Dylan Sabol, Von Moss, Jacob Mattson, Parker Vitoritt): Tied 7th Place – 3:21.63 

Both accomplishments are the highest placement for both genders at the State Meet in school history. As well as these accomplishments, other athletes also competed, which include: 

  • Shot Put (Jacob Kosko): 9th Place – 15.29m 
  • 110m Hurdles (Torance Brady): 12th Place – 15.20 
  • Girls 4x100m (Rylie Jackson, Madison Hay, Madyson Greeman, Alana Price): 12th Place – 48.56 
  • 800m (Sullivan Morris): 16th Place – 2:25.10 
  • Shot Put (Bianca Grindo): 17th Place – 10.40m 

As well as success on the track, the athletes achieved success in the classroom. The girls' team achieved a 3.653 GPA, which was 4th in the state. The boys' team achieved a 3.467 GPA, which was 5th in the state.
