Board District Lines Proposed Draft Map
During the School Board Meeting on October 26, 2021, and the Workshops on October 29, 2021 and November 12, 2021, the Board discussed proposed maps for redrawing the district boundaries for each of the five School Board seats.
The redrawing of district boundaries is necessary to help balance out the populations of each district based on U.S. Census data from 2020. According to that data, Manatee County added approximately 80,000 residents in the last 10 years.
The Board created a Proposed Board District Lines Map during the Workshop.
