An employee health and wellness fair was held for School District of Manatee County employees on Tuesday, July 25^th, at Manatee Technical College – East Campus. The first 200 through the door received a "swag bag" with Well You goodies.  

A sea of staff members including teachers, school psychologists, deans and maintenance workers, were seen speaking with company representatives about improving their physical, emotional and financial health. 

There were tables topped with brochures, free samples and giveaways, in addition to raffle prizes eligible for those who attended.

DJ Big Dawg worked the turntables outside while attendees laid out their mats for a yoga session. Nearby, a team of fitness trainers were ready to lead a pulse-pumping workout.

The Big Red Bus was on-site for anyone willing to donate blood. There were also three MCR Health mobile offices offering free screenings for health, dentistry and vision.

Outside, the heat was on – but local businesses were shaded by canopies and selling their refreshing treats. Thanks to Home Coffee Brand, Siesta Pops, and Surfing Coconut for also attending.
