As the song goes, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” The Manatee County community at-large embraces our students, staff and schools during the weeks leading up to the holidays.
Santa recently shared a story of giving from Samoset Elementary School. Bradenton's Village on the Greens community recently joined together for their “Gift-Giving Tree Holiday Project”.
Residents were asked to fulfill the wish of a child at Samoset Elementary by buying a gift, which was written on an ornament hanging from their Christmas tree.
The results were overwhelming. Neighbors from Village on the Greens loaded a delivery truck with gifts and delivered holiday cheer to students on December 8th.
Every single student received presents from Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Village elves. This act of kindness is extraordinary – and it’s reflected by the smiles on the students’ faces.
