8th grade students across Manatee County are excited about digging into their Woz ED kits to study the properties of matter.

They were engaged by an introduction to atoms and particle motion at different temperatures of water and food coloring, which included some great thinking questions for deeper understanding.

They are currently exploring density and other properties such as magnetism and conductivity.

We love seeing them work together to investigate the content!

Woz ED is a program founded by Steve Wozniak which is focused on K-12 education and preparing students for career readiness in high-demand job fields.
