Braden River High School marked a significant upgrade to its athletic facilities with the official dedication of the new artificial turf field at the school's stadium.
The ceremony, which took place prior to the Friday night game against Sarasota High, was led by Principal Wendell Butler.
Joining the celebration were school district officials including Athletic Director Matt Nesser, Superintendent Jason Wysong, Executive Director of Secondary Schools Sharon Scarbrough, and Director of Construction Services Reginald Goff.
The new turf is not just a visual enhancement but also a functional improvement, offering better drainage and versatility to support the various Pirate teams that utilize the stadium.
The school community is excited about the prospects of the new field, which promises to be a game-changer for Braden River High's athletic programs.
