Braden River High School's commercial art department once again hosted "Monster Factory," a partnership project with three Manatee County elementary schools.
Elementary-aged artists create amazing drawings, which are then reinterpreted and transformed by high school students - sometimes digitally.
Approximately 300 pieces were chosen from 900 entries by students from Braden River Elementary, Freedom Elementary and Witt Elementary.

The top images will be donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's, Imaginary Friend Society (IFS), helping brighten the spirits of kids facing cancer.
IFS turns donated art into dolls, motivational posters, coloring books and journals, so cancer patients "always have a friend at hand when they need one."
