The Manatee Clerk of the Court and Comptroller recently announced the winners of Manatee History Day, a contest designed to get students interested in researching history.

Students are required to use newspapers, diaries, letters, photographs, government records and oral history interviews to answer questions about the past.

Congratulations to the following students who are invited to attend the state competition in Tallahassee.

Florida History Day is taking place May 1-3, 2022. One entry from Manatee County will receive an Outstanding County Award. 

All entries above are eligible to compete for first, second and third place in their division and category.
