This week, students at Willis Elementary planted an EarthBox as part of the school district's Food and Nutrition Services' Farm-to-School Week program.
Food and Nutrition Services provided the EarthBox, supplies and curriculum resources for this project.
The students had an amazing time and were very engaged in planting pumpkin seeds, a tomato plant and a rosemary plant.
They are eager to watch it grow right outside their classroom window!
