Students participating in Tillman Elementary School's Camp RISE program recently took a day trip to the Orlando Science Center.
The four-story building is filled with exhibits meant to inspire young minds to develop a love for science.
In DinoDigs, students discovered dinosaurs and became a part of a paleontological excavation team while exploring an interactive dig pit.
Other interactive exhibits allowed them to learn how technology can change the human experience, improve lives and prepare us for the future.
The Kinetic Zone offered a range of innovative experiences, from launching air rockets to lifting off the ground using a pulley system.
There were lots of smiles, along with "oohs and aahs".
Camp RISE at Tillman Elementary School goes until mid-July, and features lessons in language arts, math and science to help students prepare for a successful new school year.
A special thanks to Principal Marla Massi and her staff for sharing these photos.
