The Patriots had home field advantage against the Buccaneers in West Bradenton on Thursday.
We’re talking about the Prine Elementary “Patriots”.
The school hosted an exciting field day with help from the Tampa Bay Jr. Bucs team.
Drills were setup on the P.E. field, so students in Kindergarten through 5th grade could train like an NFL athlete and have fun.
Even staff got in on the action, cheering for their classes as they ran the football down the field.
There was lots of laughter and smiles. Beautiful weather for it, too.
Tom Brady may have announced his retirement from the Bucs, but that doesn’t matter to these students.
The most popular jersey worn at school today was #12.
Assistant Principal Scott Flynn said it was a great opportunity for students to experience something they haven’t experienced before.
Thanks to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for visiting Manatee County – and providing memories to last a lifetime.
