Best of luck to several Manatee County students who will walk the red carpet at the 2023 Sarasota Film Festival this weekend.
Southeast High School Media Specialist (formerly at Lee Middle School) Terri Rohde submitted the following #ManateeSchoolsGoodNews:
“I entered Lee Middle School's outstanding student films from our TV Production class last Spring into the 2023 Sarasota Film Festival,” said Rohde. “Three of our student's films were accepted as finalists in the Sarasota Film Festival's Hollywood Nights Student Filmmaker contest.”
Students are invited to attend a Hollywood-style film premiere and awards ceremony. It’s being held this Sunday afternoon at the Rise Above Performing Arts theatre in Sarasota.
