Suncoast Remake Learning Days is being held from Friday, April 21st through Sunday, April 30th.
This year’s theme is “Wonder, Curiosity, Joy”.
More than 200 free events will be held at schools, museums, libraries, colleges and more across Manatee, Sarasota, Desoto and Charlotte Counties.
This festival is presented by the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, with support from The Patterson Foundation.
Here are some of the activities being hosted by Soar in 4 Manatee:
Nature Play Fest at G.T. Bray Park and Recreation Complex – April 21st from 5-6:30 p.m.
Build a fort, play with mud and go on a scavenger hunt. This outdoor learning activity is best suited for ages 7 and under.
Story Time at Pine Village (5621 11th Street E, Bradenton) – April 22nd from 10 a.m. until Noon
Listen to a story, make crafts and participate in STEAM activities aboard a Mobile Learning Lab. This activity is best suited for ages 7 and under.
Night at the Museum at Bishop Museum of Science and Nature – April 26th from 5:30-7 p.m.
Discover hands-on activities and take home a book and learning materials. This activity is best suited for ages 7 and under.
April Showers Bring May Carrots at Braden River Library – April 27th from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Co-hosted with Forty Carrots Family Center. Create colorful flower pots and plant your own carrot seeds. Enjoy science and art activities for the whole family. Ages 7 and under are welcome.
